Click Here for New England Division tournaments, USFA tournaments, holidays, and other pertinent events.  Summer 2009 events are ongoing, Fall 2010 will be posted soon.

Local tournaments are a great way to compete outside of your own club.  Anytime you go to a tournament, you will need full fencing uniform, minimum of 2 weapons, and 2 bodycords when you are called to the strip. It's also helpful to have spare tip screws and a small screwdriver in case you lose one during a bout - practice installing them beforehand.

Search within AskFRED  for North Atlantic section, New England division tournaments (NEUSFA). Preregister and see who else has registered.  All qualifiers, division championships, NACs, Summer Nationals, and selected local tournaments require preregistration with pre-payment.  Starting Feb 2008, local NEUSFA tournaments require $15 preregistration via AskFRED, usually by the Wednesday before the tournament; miss that, and its $20 at the door and perhaps a refundable $5 cleanup/helpout-after-you-finish-fencing deposit. Pre-registering gives organizers a heads up on the number of referees needed.
